At Casinous, we take the privacy of every Filipino member seriously. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, who it may be shared with, and how you can exercise your rights over your own data.
This overview covers the major points. The full policy below is the binding document — please read it completely. These cards are here to help you navigate the key topics quickly.
Casinous collects personal data only to the extent required for account registration, identity verification, payment processing, and regulatory compliance. We do not collect data speculatively or for resale.
Your data is shared only with service providers that help us run the Casinous platform — payment processors, identity verification partners, and regulators where required by Philippine law. It is never sold.
All personal data held by Casinous is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis. We conduct regular security reviews of our data storage practices.
As a Filipino data subject, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and object to the processing of your personal data. Casinous provides clear channels to exercise every one of these rights.
Casinous uses cookies to keep your session active, remember preferences, and understand how members use the platform. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time.
If a data breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, Casinous will notify you and the National Privacy Commission within the timeframes required by the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012.
Casinous serves Filipino members across the country — your personal data is protected under the same policy regardless of where you are.
Scope: This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data collected by Casinous in connection with your use of the platform at casinous.best, including account registration, deposits, betting activity, and customer support interactions. By using Casinous, you acknowledge that you have read this policy.
Your privacy matters to Casinous. We are aware that when you hand over personal information — whether it is your name, your ID, or your GCash number — you are placing trust in us. This policy is here to honour that trust by being completely transparent about what happens with your data from the moment you register.
This Privacy Policy is written in plain language on purpose. Legal documents are often hard to read, and that makes people skip them. We want you to actually understand what Casinous does with your information, so we have kept this as readable as possible without removing any of the substance you are entitled to know.
Casinous operates in compliance with Republic Act No. 10173, the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations. We are registered with the National Privacy Commission as required. This policy should be read alongside the Casinous Terms and Conditions, which govern your use of the platform more broadly.
For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act of 2012, Casinous is the personal information controller in respect of data collected through the casinous.best platform. This means we are responsible for deciding how and why your personal data is collected and used.
We have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who is responsible for overseeing our compliance with data privacy obligations. You can reach the Casinous DPO directly at privacy@casinous.best. If you have any concern about how your data is being handled, the DPO is your first point of contact.

Casinous collects personal data only to provide a safe, local gaming experience for Filipino members.
Casinous collects personal data through several channels:
You provide data directly when you register a Casinous account, submit identity verification documents, make a deposit or withdrawal, contact our support team, or adjust your account settings. This is the primary source of personal data we hold.
When you use the Casinous platform, our servers automatically log certain technical data including your IP address, device identifiers, browser type, and session timestamps. This data is collected automatically as part of normal platform operation and is necessary for security monitoring, fraud prevention, and platform stability.
In limited cases, Casinous may receive personal data about you from third parties. This occurs when:
In all cases, Casinous handles third-party sourced data under the same protections as directly collected data.
Casinous uses personal data only for the purposes it was collected for. Below are the specific purposes for which your data is processed:
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, every processing of personal data must have a lawful basis. The legal bases Casinous relies on are:
No consent withdrawal penalty: Withdrawing consent from marketing communications will not affect your Casinous account, your ability to deposit, bet, or withdraw, or any other service we provide.
Casinous does not sell your personal data to any third party under any circumstances. Sharing of personal data only occurs in the following limited circumstances:
Casinous engages third-party service providers who process data on our behalf and under our instruction. These include payment processors for GCash, Maya, and bank transfers; identity verification providers for KYC document checking; cloud infrastructure and hosting providers; and customer support platform providers. All processors are contractually bound to process data only as instructed and to maintain appropriate security standards.
Casinous is legally required to share certain data with Philippine government bodies and regulators in specific circumstances. This includes compliance with Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) reporting obligations, responses to lawful requests from law enforcement, and data sharing with the National Privacy Commission in connection with breach notifications or investigations.
Lawyers, auditors, and other professional advisers engaged by Casinous may process personal data in the course of providing services, subject to professional confidentiality obligations.
No data is transferred to advertising networks, data brokers, social media platforms, or any other party for commercial purposes beyond direct Casinous operations.
Whether you play from Cebu or anywhere else in the Philippines, Casinous applies the same data protection standards to every account.
Casinous retains personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Below are the standard retention periods:
When data is no longer required, Casinous deletes or anonymises it securely. Anonymised, aggregated data (where individuals cannot be identified) may be retained indefinitely for platform analytics and improvement purposes.
Casinous applies technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include:
No data transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While Casinous takes every reasonable precaution, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you suspect unauthorised access to your Casinous account, contact support immediately.
Casinous uses cookies and similar browser-based technologies on the platform. Cookies are small text files placed on your device that allow us to recognise your browser and store certain information across sessions.
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse new cookies, delete existing cookies, or be notified when a cookie is set. Disabling essential cookies will prevent Casinous from functioning correctly — you will not be able to stay logged in or place bets. Disabling functional or analytics cookies will not affect your core ability to use the platform.
Casinous does not use cookies to serve third-party advertising or to track your activity on other websites.
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data held by Casinous:
Request a copy of the personal data Casinous holds about you, information on how it is used, and who it has been shared with.
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data. For account details, you can update many fields directly in your Casinous account settings.
Request deletion of personal data in certain circumstances — for example, where it is no longer necessary for the purposes it was collected, subject to our legal retention obligations.
Object to processing of your personal data for direct marketing at any time, or object to processing based on legitimate interests where you have grounds based on your particular situation.
Receive a copy of personal data you provided to Casinous in a structured, commonly used format, where technically feasible and where processing is based on consent or contract.
Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission if you believe Casinous has not handled your personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
To exercise any of these rights, contact the Casinous Data Protection Officer at privacy@casinous.best. We will respond within 15 business days of receiving your request. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
No fee for rights requests: Casinous does not charge for handling data privacy rights requests. If a request is repetitive or manifestly unfounded, we may decline it — but we will explain our reasoning if we do.
Casinous is strictly for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we discover that a minor has provided personal data through a Casinous account, we will immediately close the account and delete the associated data.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor in your care has registered on Casinous, contact support at support@casinous.best immediately. We take underage access seriously and will act promptly on any report.
Some of the third-party service providers that Casinous works with — particularly cloud infrastructure, payment processing, and identity verification providers — may store or process data outside the Philippines. Where this occurs, Casinous ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your personal data at a standard equivalent to or higher than that required by RA 10173.
These safeguards include contractual clauses in agreements with processors, requiring them to maintain equivalent data protection standards. Casinous does not transfer personal data to jurisdictions that do not provide adequate protections without implementing these contractual safeguards first.
If you want more information about specific cross-border transfers affecting your data, contact the Casinous DPO at privacy@casinous.best.
Casinous may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data practices, new services we offer, or updates to Philippine privacy law. When we make material changes, we will notify registered members via their registered email address or through a notification displayed at login on the Casinous platform.
The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was most recently revised. We recommend revisiting this page periodically. Continued use of Casinous after an updated policy comes into effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Previous versions of this Privacy Policy are available on request by contacting the Casinous DPO.
